Practice exams are scored against a 70% practice benchmark. There is no national CNA passing score: each state sets the passing standard for its own nurse aide competency evaluation, and the standard in your state’s candidate handbook is the one that applies to you. The NNAAP written exam (where your state uses it) is 70 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours, weighted Physical Care Skills 64%, Role of the Nurse Aide 26%, Psychosocial Care Skills 10% under the 2024 content outline.
